These high protein energy balls resemble a real flapjack without all the “extras”. You can rest assure that no nasties are added to this wonderful recipe which is a life saver when those cravings kick in. But there’s more, no baking is required, they’re made of 5 ingredients only and all you need is a mixing bowl and your own hands.
– 120g oats
– 50g honey
– 30g peanut butter
– 20g coconut oil
– 1 1/2 TBSP preferred milk. Water also works perfectly
Add oats, protein powder, honey and milk/water into a bowl and mix well. Heat up the coconut oil a little in the microwave until it softens. Add melted coconut oil and peanut butter into the oats and mix well until it creates a paste. Roll dough into 8 balls.
– coat the balls in coconut flour or cacao powder
– add raisins, cranberries, dark chocolate chips or seeds into your mix for extra flavour. Absolutely up to you. Or be creative and add anything you wish. Enjoy!
